Designed to support programs for executive leadership development and growth, the Truist Leadership Institute saw a need to increase their capacity from the original South Building, completed in 2018. The new, LEED Gold-targeted North Building is a state-of-the-art, 86,000 square foot facility that more than doubles the Institute’s capability to provide its innovative programs.

The North Hills Expansion project is revitalizing the development through several new buildings in the Main District. This project features a high-rise multifamily tower, a combination of high-rise and mid-rise offi ce buildings, and an underground parking deck. It represents the latest phase in the evolution of North Hills, expanding the existing North Hills Main District by adding an iconic offi ce building and an elevated, luxury experience.

This project represents a significant foreign direct investment from a German manufacturer with a growing presence in the North American market. The company started quietly almost two decades ago in a small retail center in Greensboro. After multiple expansions in the Triad, the company needed a new home offering more than 500,000 square feet of manufacturing, R&D, distribution and headquarters space.
